Families will have more than enough outdoor attractions to make their holiday at Altnaharra Club Site memorable. Fly fish for free from the shore; attempt to spot over 70 different species of birds and admire the red deer roaming in the wild. Those staying on site are now have non-motorised boating rights on Lake Naver (conditions apply), ideal for those with small rowing boats and dinghies. Walks range from leisurely ambles across gentle hills such as nearby Ben Loyal, to areas like Munros, where explorations in places like Ben Klibreck and Ben Hope make for a good challenge.

the caravan site/campsite is also within easy reach of a visit to Cape Wrath via a small ferry and minibus to see Scotland's most north westerly point,
