Port a Bhaigh campsite has been built on the family croft which was the owner's mother's croft "Mrs Shona Wilson" and before was Shona's father's "Mr Alisdair Maclean". The croft was used for stock purposes and growing their own vegetables. But now after deciding to diversify and a lot of hard work it is a campsite that can accommodate 42 caravan/motorhomes on level hard stands with 26 of them having electrical hook ups and ample space for 50 tents.
The toilet, shower and laundry block has a very open and airy feel and is available for the site occupants to use 24 hrs, as is the chemical toilet disposal unit. The site also has wifi and access to a payphone which again is available to use 24 hrs.
