North Coast 500 Business Description

 

Modern two bedroom, two bathroom pet-friendly cottage with hot tub. The cottage sleeps four guests and is located in the village of Spean Bridge. High-quality property with spacious lounge and log burner, fully equipped kitchen, double glazing throughout, and oil heating.

Nearby attractions include Ben Nevis, Nevis Range Mountain Resort, The Commando Memorial and Fort William.

You can reach Fort William easily by car, bus or train.

The village has a shop, bars & restaurants only a walk away.
The space
The cottage sleeps four and is ideal for families and friends alike. The lounge comfortably seats four guests and is very cozy with a log-burning stove and smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. On the ground floor, we have an ensuite twin bedroom with bunk beds (bottom small double and top single) which benefits from an en-suite shower room. The master bedroom is a double on the first floor along with the second bathroom which has a bathtub. The front of the cottage has a covered porch with seating and a grass lawn. The rear of the house is paved and completely secure ideal for the dog. The hot tub is covered and can be enjoyed any time of the year. The rear garden area is a fantastic space to relax and unwind.
Guest access
The cottage is self check in and the spacious private driveway can easily accommodate two vehicles. Located in the centre of the village the grocery store, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Fort William is only a short drive away and you can walk to bus and rail links within a few minutes.

    All being well More than two-thirds of businesses around this 516 mile tourist route around the Scottish highland's (The North Coast 500 - NC500) are getting ready to reopen as soon as they are given the all-clear by the Scottish Government. The whole of the Scottish Highland's has welcomed the recent announcement from the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Economy and Tourism, Fergus Ewing, of the provisional date of 15th July when tourism businesses may be able to resume operations.

     
  • New tariff at electric vehicle (EV) charging points On The North Coast 500

    The Highland Council has decided to introduce a tariff at EV charge points, starting on 1 June 2021.

    The new tariff is intended to recover costs associated with the operation and upkeep of the network, transitioning Highland Council to a more sustainable operating model.

    The number of EVs on the roads has doubled in the last year, therefore the risk in electricity supply will be upwards of those numbers without a tariff in place. The approach taken is fully endorsed by the Electric Vehicle Association Scotland and is designed to enable the Council to support and maintain the service offered, but also encourage best practice amongst users at charge points, facilitating all journeys.
